Hi, I’m Chien Hung(Jack). I enjoy experiencing the world through travel and enriching my inner life and imagination through books and films. Away from screens and books, I enjoy hiking, working out, and meditating.

I’m a backend engineer with six years of Ruby on Rails experience. Beyond Rails, I’m always curious to explore other backend technologies. This website, for example, was built with Python and FastAPI. It features a knowledge base that combines Markdown, RAG, and hybrid search, and is deployed on AWS ECS.
